Quick facts

  • Generate automatically — count, length, optional prefix/suffix, letters and/or numbers.
  • Enter manually — paste one code per line.
  • Large batches may run in the background; wait until the app shows finished before you rely on export.
  • View all codes in Shopify Admin or export for a spreadsheet or CRM.

Open bulk codes on a discount

Smarty

Apps → Smarty Discounts.

Create or open

Create discount → pick type → choose Bulk codes, or open an existing discount and switch the method to Bulk codes where allowed.

Save

Save so Shopify has a discount record and Smarty can attach codes.
You must use the Bulk codes method to see the generator (not Automatic or a single Discount code).

Switch mode

Enter manually.

Paste one code per line.

Start

Start generation the same way as automatic.
Invalid or duplicate lines may be skipped; the app may show how many could not be added.

Progress and history

Recent code generation (or similar) shows Status, Progress, Started. Cancel, Retry, or Resume when offered. When complete, codes should show as ready, with a link to view them.

View in Shopify and export

View

View all codes / View codes → opens codes in Shopify Admin for that discount.

Export

Export / Download when you need a file for email tools or a CRM.

For the same discount, use Set up new codes / Generate more codes when shown — subject to your plan and any limits in the app.
