# Use a Smarty Discounts template

> Smarty includes use cases—ready-made discounts you open, rename, and adjust. On the Dashboard, Browse use cases, Featured use cases, and See all use cases open the same library. Prerequisite: you should already know Create a discount so you know which fields to change.

## Open a template

    **Browse use cases** *or* a **Featured** card *or* **See all use cases**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick and open">
    Pick a template by name and description; open it. The **editor** loads with example rules.

## Make it yours

Update:
